中国乒协在2026赛季乒超联赛开赛前推出两项新规：强制每支俱乐部至少注册一名U19小将，且团体赛前三盘必须安排其登场。
7月23日，谈及新规时王楚钦表示：“可能需要小将上场，也是为梯队建设去做规划、做准备，队伍有这样的意识和意图。”
