格隆汇7月22日｜房地产平台Zillow Group表示，美国楼市长期面对供应短缺问题，而在待售空置地皮上兴建住宅，或可成为缩窄供应缺口的方法之一。截至6月，Zillow上有逾30万幅面积少于5英亩的空置地皮放售，占全美所有放售盘源17.4%。若每幅地皮兴建一间住宅，美国住房短缺将可缩减6.3%，至约444万间住宅。Zillow高级经济学家Kara Ng表示，该方案是应对过去20年形成的供应危机中最容易实现的方法。
