洛杉矶银河官方表示：吉田麻也已获得绿卡，将不再占用洛杉矶银河队的外籍球员名额。
现年37岁的吉田麻也于2023年8月自由身加盟洛杉矶银河，效力球队的三个赛季以来，吉田麻也共计出场105次，打进7球送出3次助攻。
