当地时间7月16日，科技记者马克·古尔曼发文称， 苹果公司正准备推出五年来最大升级版iPad mini，最快将于今秋发布、10月上市。新款iPad mini代号J510，将首次采用OLED显示屏，以提升显示效果。与此同时，苹果还计划于明年更新入门版iPad（代号J581）和11英寸、13英寸iPad Air（代号J807、J837），其中入门版主要升级处理器，iPad Air预计于春季发布。苹果预计今年9月发布首款折叠屏iPhone以及新款Apple Watch等产品，并已于上月上调包括iPad系列在内的多款产品售价。
