公开简历显示，刘强，男，汉族，1971年3月生，1993年7月参加工作，1996年12月加入中国共产党。 第二十届中央候补委员。
他曾任中国银行副行长，山东省副省长，山东省委常委、省委秘书长等职，2022年任山东省委常委、济南市委书记。
