据南方+客户端7月13日消息，近日，广东省委决定：庄悦群同志任汕头市委委员、常委、书记，不再担任茂名市委书记、常委、委员职务。
庄悦群，1969年8月生，广东普宁人。2021年4月任茂名市委副书记、代市长，同月当选茂名市市长。2022年8月任茂名市委书记，至此番调整。
