卡塔尔外交部7月7日召见伊朗驻卡塔尔副大使，就卡方一艘运输船日前在霍尔木兹海峡附近航行时遭袭，向伊方递交抗议照会。卡塔尔外交部当天发表声明说，照会指出，袭击卡塔尔运输船“阿尔-鲁凯亚特”号严重危害国际海上航行安全，直接威胁全球能源供应安全，公然违反国际法。卡塔尔要求伊朗尽快就此次袭击作出说明。（新华社）
