农历五月二十是“大分龙”的日子。相传这天管雨水的龙王们分头去往各地，各司其职播撒甘霖。所以民间也叫它分龙日，是老百姓祈求风调雨顺、五谷丰登的传统吉日。这天过得安稳顺当，寓意下半年雨水调匀、庄嫁丰收，一家子的日子也会跟着兴旺踏实。
