这家数据中心开发商原计划将北弗吉尼亚威廉王子县超过800英亩的土地改造成全球最大科技走廊之一的核心地带。由于毗邻一处具有历史意义的南北战争战场，并且位于此前受保护而免受开发影响的土地上，该项目引发业主的强烈抵制，并因诉讼而陷入停滞。
