据央视新闻：近日，某网民在网络平台发布不当言论，涉嫌诋毁袁隆平院士科研成果。经查，犯罪嫌疑人杨某（男，40岁）为博取流量，恶意曲解袁隆平院士研发的水稻育种技术，公然损害袁隆平院士声誉，造成恶劣社会影响。目前，公安机关已依法对杨某采取刑事拘留，案件正在进一步办理中。
