北京时间6月24日，NBA选秀大会首轮落幕。
凯尔特人总裁史蒂文斯谈新秀塞纳克：“他是个很棒的年轻人，充满能量，打球拼命，运动能力出色，臂展很长，正好符合我们的需求。我认为我们今年正是缺乏他所能提供的体型、臂展和运动能力。”
在今年选秀大会上，凯尔特人以第27顺位选择了克里斯-塞纳克。
