6月17日，受中联部邀请，英国驻华大使魏磊（Peter Wilson）参访延安、梁家河。魏磊也是二十大以来首位参观访问梁家河的西方国家驻华大使。
2025年8月，魏磊接替吴若兰（Dame Wilson）担任英国驻华大使。
