当地时间6月16日，正在法国参加G7峰会的美国总统特朗普在接受媒体采访时表示，他表示，以色列不应在找目标时一味袭击公寓，公寓里不全是真主党。特朗普同时表示，叙利亚在处理真主党问题上，要比以色列好很多。他提议，让叙利亚对付真主党。
