英国国家统计局12日公布的数据显示，4月英国国内生产总值环比下降0.1%。其中，服务业环比下降0.2%，成为拖累经济增长的主要因素。
英国国家统计局表示，受中东战事影响，包括世界一级方程式赛车锦标赛（F1）在内的多场原定于中东地区举办的体育赛事被取消，给英国娱乐业造成打击，这是当月服务业环比下降的重要原因。
