最近SIE在索尼发布会上公布恐怖冒险新作《直到黎明2》。近日据参与该作演出的演员dacremontgomery透露，他在4年前就加入到了该项目的大家庭。这也意味着本作或已开发4年，若算上预制作阶段，实际投入时间可能更久。
《直到黎明2》由Firesprite打造，该开发商在2021年被SIE收购成为PlayStation第一方工作室。他们在2023年推出了与游骑兵工作室合作的VR游戏《地平线：山之召唤》。《直到黎明2》将于2027年登陆PS5平台。
