郭忠志同志任中共桂林市委委员、常委、书记。

郭忠志出生于1974年，土家族，长期在广西壮族自治区党委工作，历任广西壮族自治区党委政策研究室副主任，广西壮族自治区党委副秘书长、办公厅副主任，广西壮族自治区党委副秘书长、政策研究室主任，广西壮族自治区党委分管日常工作的副秘书长、办公厅主任。
之前担任桂林市委书记的李楚已调任北海市委书记。
