记者获悉，当地时间5月12日，柬埔寨国会通过《兵役法》草案，随后将提交柬埔寨参议院进行审议。
草案规定，凡年龄介于18岁至25岁之间的柬埔寨男性公民，均须依法履行兵役义务，服役期为24个月，特殊情况下可延长6个月，逃避兵役者将面临罚款及监禁处罚。
