日前，经中共福建省委研究决定，谢素原同志任福建农林大学校长。
谢素原，男，汉族，1968年4月出生，福建上杭人。
他于1997年2月加入民盟，1999年获得厦门大学博士学位，2021年当选为中国科学院院士。此番履新前，他任厦门大学化学化工学院教授、博士生导师，民盟福建省委会副主委、厦门市委会主委。
