4月27日，壳牌公司发表声明称，已达成最终协议，将以136亿美元价格收购加拿大能源公司ARC（ARC Resources Ltd），此项交易旨在加强其公司的油气储量和产量。壳牌表示，此次收购将以约25%现金和75%股票支付，溢价幅度为ARC公司30天加权平均股价的20%。该交易预计将于2026年下半年完成。
