当地时间4月21日，特朗普再发文怒怼《华尔街日报》，驳斥该报评论员言论。他表示，自己对伊朗实施全方位打击，使其海军、空军、核设施全被摧毁，霍尔木兹海峡被美军封锁，伊朗日均损失5亿美元、经济岌岌可危。特朗普还抨击奥巴马政府曾向伊朗输送资金，助长其核计划，认为历任前总统对伊态度软弱。
特朗普指责该报道是默多克授意，直言《华尔街日报》已迷失方向，“如今《华尔街日报》早已偏离正道，不再是必读刊物，不过是又一份江河日下的政治小报罢了！”
