坊间传言，战国时期，苏秦一直努力说服六国联合抗秦，史称"六国封相"。但苏秦在齐国的时候被刺客杀了，齐王为了抓出刺客，特贴出告示，声称苏秦为大内奸，刺杀苏秦者赏金千两。
告示一出，立刻有四个上钩，声称是自己所为。齐王正恨刺客牙痒，怒：千两黄金每人二百五，顺便把这四个二百五推出去砍了！
