中国海油4月11日宣布，东方1-1气田二氧化碳捕集封存利用项目已经在海南开工建设。作为我国首个海上注碳增气技术示范应用项目，该项目全面投产后预计每年最多可在地层封存超100万吨二氧化碳。
注碳增气技术全称二氧化碳强化天然气采收率技术，是将天然气开采过程中产出的二氧化碳“变废为宝”，通过捕集提纯后加压回注到含气地层，既实现封存，又成为驱动难采天然气采出的动力来源。
