北京时间4月4日，纽卡斯尔联官方发布公告，确认特里皮尔将在今夏合同到期后离开球队。
现年35岁的特里皮尔与纽卡的现有合同将在今年6月到期，本赛季至今他代表纽卡出场34次，其中30次首发，送出4次助攻。
特里皮尔2022年1月从马竞转投纽卡，至今他一共为纽卡出战了157场正式比赛，贡献4粒进球和29次助攻，并帮助喜鹊军团在上赛季拿到了联赛杯的冠军。
