刚果（金）政府2日宣布，该国猴痘疫情结束，不再构成国内公共卫生紧急事件。
刚果（金）于2022年12月宣布全国暴发猴痘疫情。刚果（金）国家生物医学研究院数据显示，自2024年第一周至2026年第二周，全国累计报告猴痘病例超过12.4万例，其中确诊病例超过3.4万例，死亡病例超过2200例。
