财联社3月31日电，据美国有线电视新闻网（CNN）3月31日报道，2024年以来，美国人对移居加拿大及申请成为加拿大公民的兴趣持续增加。报道称，这一“前所未有”的现象与加拿大《公民法》的修订有关，也与美国的“美式选举”周期有关。报道援引加拿大移民、难民和公民部的数据显示，当下，加方处理美国人的入籍申请大约用时10个月，现有近5.1万份申请在“排队”。 (新华社)
