在2026年花样滑冰世锦赛女单短节目中，18岁的中国小将张瑞阳排名第18位，晋级自由滑。上一次有中国女单选手晋级世锦赛自由滑还要追溯到2021年，当时陈虹伊在短节目中排名第22位晋级。
本次世锦赛是张瑞阳继米兰冬奥会后首次亮相国际顶级赛事，58.96分略低于冬奥会短节目得分（59.83分），日本名将坂本花织、千叶百音和美国选手格伦位列短节目前三位。
