经过多年研究攻关，我国科学家首次找到决定野生稻可以多年生长的关键基因，并在现有栽培稻的基础上培育出了可以一次播种、多年收获的“长寿水稻”。也就意味着，以后也许不用年年插秧，也能收获水稻。这一成果今天以封面形式在国际学术期刊《科学》发表。
