北京时间3月20日，NBA常规赛，黄蜂主场对阵魔术的比赛正在进行中。
比赛中场休息时，黄蜂队为戴尔-库里举办了球衣退役仪式，后者的30号球衣在黄蜂主场升空。
戴尔-库里的两个儿子：斯蒂芬-库里和塞斯-库里均到场支持。
戴尔-库里于1986年进入NBA，在其16年的职业生涯中，共为黄蜂征战10个赛季，为黄蜂队史出场次数、出场时间最多的球员，并在队史得分榜上排名第2。
