卡塔尔内政部和卡塔尔能源公司说，拉斯拉凡工业城当地时间3月18日因伊朗导弹袭击而起火，造成大面积损坏，暂无人员伤亡报告。拉斯拉凡工业城是全球最大的液化天然气生产设施所在地。卡塔尔国防部说，卡塔尔当天遭5枚来自伊朗的弹道导弹袭击，拦截其中4枚，另一枚落入拉斯拉凡工业城并引发火灾。民防部门说，火势已得到控制。（CCTV国际时讯 ）
