据《香港经济日报》引述市场消息报道，香港大学正与本地开发商大鸿辉洽谈，拟以40亿港元（5.11亿美元）的价格收购西营盘一栋写字楼。这栋大楼面积有逾38万平方英尺，包括办公和零售空间，将于明年初竣工。据报道，该大学计划买来自用。
