3月8日凌晨，扬州居民潘女士驾车经过明月湖大桥附近时，一头野猪突然横穿马路，她紧急采取制动措施避险，所幸未造成事故。9日，扬州市陆生野生动物救护中心回应称，野猪活动范围太大难以抓捕，呼吁市民遇到时切勿因好奇靠近。
