一、Steel & Paint Inspector 钢结构与涂装工程师

Job Description：

The Steel & Paint Inspector is responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and verifying all hull steel construction and marine coating works during the construction of Boskalis vessels at Fujian South East Shipyard and at subcontractor facilities. The role ensures that all works comply with project specifications,vessel specific Flag State and Classification Society requirements (BV and ABS), IMO PSPC standards, OEM guidelines, and Boskalis internal quality procedures.

The inspector will initially work closely with experienced Boskalis personnel to gain full understanding of Boskalis quality expectations and inspection practices.

Responsibilities：

• Inspect and review steel construction.

• Verify coating & painting.

• Comply with vessel specific flag and class responsibilities.

• Compliance with IMO PSPC responsibilities.

• Follow Boskalis procedures & quality standards.

• Coordination & communication with the parties involved.

Requirements：

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in steel construction and/or marine coating inspection for newbuild vessels (offshore vessels, workboats, tugs, dredgers, or similar).

• Strong understanding of welding standards, NDT, coating systems, and yard construction workflows.

• Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) — spoken and written.

• Strong ability to interpret construction drawings, structural details, coating specifications, and survey procedures.

• Knowledge of Class requirements for hull construction and coating systems.

• Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and follow up discipline.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools such as SharePoint.

• Able to work independently and as part of an international team.

Advantages：

• Experience with Chinese shipyards is preferred.

• Class surveyor experience is an advantage.

• Professional certifications (e.g. NACE/ICorr, welding inspector) are an advantage.

Working Conditions：

二、Project Office Manager 项目办公室经理

Job Description：

The Project Office Manager supports the Boskalis site team by managing all administrative, logistical, and organizational aspects of the newbuild project office at Fujian South East Shipyard. This role ensures smooth daily operations, supports communication between the site team and Boskalis offices (Shanghai and the Netherlands), and maintains a professional working environment for Boskalis personnel and project visitors.

The role is essential for enabling the technical team to perform their work effectively by ensuring proper office management, travel coordination, supplies, and structured project communication.

Responsibilities：

• Project office administration work.

• Travel & logistics coordination and arrangements.

• Office facilities & supplies maintenance.

• Communication & coordination both inside and outside.

• Document control support.

• Support to site team & visitors.

Requirements：

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in project office management, administrative support, coordination, or similar roles.

• Experience working with international project teams is preferred.

• Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) — spoken and written.

• Strong organizational, time‑management, and administrative skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools such as SharePoint.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

三、Inspector Electrical Systems & Instrumentation电气与仪表工程师

Job Description：

The Inspector Electrical Systems & Instrumentation oversees the inspection, testing, and verification of all electrical, electronic, automation, and instrumentation systems during the construction of Boskalis vessels at Fujian South East Shipyard and at subcontractor workshops. The role ensures equipment and installations comply with project specifications, vessel specific Flag State and Classification Society requirements (BV and ABS), OEM documentation, and Boskalis internal quality procedures.

The inspector will initially work closely with experienced Boskalis staff to develop full understanding of Boskalis’ expectations, standards, and project workflows.

Responsibilities：

• Electrical equipment installation.

• Inspect installation of instrumentation & control systems.

• System testing & commissioning.

• Inspect installation of navigation, communication & special systems.

• Comply with vessel specific flag and class responsibilities.

• Follow Boskalis procedures & quality standards.

• Coordination & communication with the parties involved.

Requirements：

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical and instrumentation inspection for vessel newbuilding, offshore installations, or marine industrial systems.

• Strong knowledge of marine electrical standards, instrumentation, automation, and commissioning practices.

• Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) — spoken and written.

• Ability to read and interpret:

• Electrical drawings and SLDs

• Cable schedules and routing plans

• P&IDs

• Loop diagrams and wiring schematics

• Strong understanding of Class rules related to electrical installations.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools such as SharePoint.

• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and reporting skills.

• Strong attention to detail and systematic follow up abilities.

Job Description：

The Mechanical & Hydraulic Inspector is responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and verifying all mechanical, hydraulic, rotating, and machinery related systems during the construction of Boskalis vessels at Fujian South East Shipyard and outsourced subcontractor facilities. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, vessel specific Flag State and Classification Society requirements (BV and ABS), OEM documentation, machinery installation standards, and Boskalis internal quality procedures.

The inspector will work closely with experienced Boskalis site personnel during the initial period to gain full understanding of Boskalis quality expectations.

Responsibilities：

• Mechanical equipment installation.

• Inspect installation of hydraulic systems.

• System testing & commissioning.

• Comply with vessel specific flag and class responsibilities.

• Follow Boskalis procedures & quality standards.

• Coordination & communication with the parties involved.

Requirements：

• Minimum5 years’ experiencein newbuilding or installation of mechanical/hydraulic systems on offshore vessels, workboats, dredgers, or similar ships.

• Strong background in marine machinery, hydraulic equipment, and system testing.

• Proficiency inEnglish and Chinese (Mandarin)— spoken and written.

• Strong ability to interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, hydraulic schematics, and OEM manuals.

• Knowledge of Class requirements for machinery installations.

• Solid understanding of alignment, chocking, flushing, pressure testing, and commissioning processes.
