新华社莫斯科3月8日电（记者侯鸣）俄罗斯科学院“统一地球物理局”堪察加分部8日在社交媒体上说，俄远东堪察加半岛附近海域当天发生6.5级地震。
该机构表示，地震发生在格林尼治时间8日17时08分（北京时间9日1时08分），地震震中距堪察加边疆区首府堪察加彼得罗巴甫洛夫斯克市237公里，震源深度为47.9公里。（完）
