王毅谈伊朗局势：这是一场本不应发生的战争

王毅说，伊朗局势是当前国际局势的焦点。中方秉持客观公正态度，已多次阐明原则立场，归结为一句话就是停火止战。面对陷入战火的中东，这是一场本不应发生的战争，也是一场对各方都没有好处的战争。中方愿再次呼吁：立即停止军事行动，防止局势轮番升级，避免战火外溢蔓延。

王毅指出，拳头硬不等于道理硬，世界不能退回丛林法则。动辄使用武力并不能证明自己的强大，民众不能成为战争的无辜牺牲品。

Wang said the war in Iran should not have happened, and the ongoing conflict does no one any good.

"Might does not make right, and civilians should not be victimized," he said.

他强调，中东人民是地区的真正主人，中东事务应由地区国家自主决定。策划“颜色革命”、搞政权更迭不得人心。

He stressed that the people in the Middle East are the true masters of the region, and that regional affairs should be determined by regional countries independently. Plotting color revolution or seeking regime change will find no popular support.

王毅还引用中国古语“仁义不施，而攻守之势异也”，表示大国理应守公道、行正道，多为中东和平与发展贡献正能量。

Quoting an ancient Chinese adage, Wang said, "When benevolence and justice are not practiced, the position of strength shifts." He called on major countries to act in the spirit of justice and righteousness, and contribute more positive energy to peace and development in the Middle East.

中方愿再次呼吁：立即停止军事行动，防止局势轮番升级，避免战火外溢蔓延。
