据新华社报道，美国国务院3月6日发布消息说，美国国务院已决定批准一项总额达1.518亿美元的对以色列军售计划，用于购买弹药及相关支持。
美国国务院称，这将“提升以色列应对当前和未来威胁的能力，加强其本土防御，并对地区威胁起到威慑作用”。
