当地时间3月5日，欧盟理事会正式通过了修订后的《欧洲气候法》，规定到2040年，温室气体净排放量比1990年水平降低90%。
修订后的法规将在《欧盟官方公报》发布20天后生效，并直接适用于所有欧盟成员国。欧盟委员会将提出相关提案，以落实具有约束力的欧盟2040年气候目标。（央视新闻）
