2月21日，中国机械工程学会铸造分会发布讣告，中国铸造协会原副会长，沈阳铸造研究所原党委书记、所长徐人瑞因病医治无效，于2026年2月20日在沈阳逝世，享年86岁。
徐人瑞在担任沈阳铸造研究所所长期间，主持和参与了863计划、973计划、三峡工程等重大项目，为我国航空航天、海洋军工、水利水电等发展做出历史性贡献。
