2月20日，澳大利亚天然气生产商Santos宣布与南澳大利亚政府签署了一份具有约束力的条款清单，将向怀阿拉钢铁厂长期供应天然气，以支持其转型为低排放绿色铁设施。根据协议，Santos将在10年内每年供应20拍焦的天然气，首次供气时间为2030年3月1日。
