本赛季至今，KJ-辛普森在黄蜂出战14场比赛，场均15.9分钟内得到6分2.1篮板2.5助攻，投篮命中率34.8%。
此前，掘金已将斯宾塞-琼斯的双向合同转为正式合同，从而腾出一个双向合同名额，掘金使用这个名额签下了KJ-辛普森。
