日本财务省的估算报道称，由于债务融资成本上升，日本国债发行规模在未来三年可能激增28%。
根据该估算，在始于2029年4月的财年，日本可能需要发行高达38万亿日元的国债，远超2026财年的29.6万亿日元。
2029财年需要偿还的国债本息预计将升至40.3万亿日元，高于2026财年的31.3万亿日元，约占总支出的30%。
