2月14日，北京明城墙遗址公园内，一株宫粉梅悄然绽放，这比常年花期提前了约一周。
在角楼西南侧，这株梅花的粉红花苞与600年明城墙相映成趣。
不少市民游客驻足拍照。
随着气温回升，预计2月下旬至3月上旬将迎来梅花集中开放，3月中旬进入盛花期。
