2月9日，第二届“CBA俱乐部杯”半决赛战罢。山西汾酒男篮以78比59击败浙江方兴渡队，队史首次晋级决赛。
在山西职业男篮20年的历史上，这支球队第一次闯进全国大赛的决赛。同时也是山西男子篮球历史上第一次闯进全国大赛的决赛。早在2019年的全国二青会上，山西U19男篮获得过青年赛的第一个冠军。
