据CR消息，佳能高端APS-C无反相机EOS R7 II样机已经现身米兰，目前正由部分摄影师进行测试。该网站表示，基本可以确认，这款相机将于今年第二季度发布。从外观看，该机比一代更“壮硕”，没有肩屏，与R6系列机身比较类似。
顺便说一下，隔壁富士的旗舰APS-C机型X-Pro4（暂名）会晚于X-T6发布，而X-T6目前暂定发布时间为9月。
