北京时间2月6日，据ESPN名记Shams报道，篮网裁掉后卫卡梅隆-托马斯。
Shams表示：据ESPN消息人士透露，布鲁克林篮网队将裁掉卡梅伦-托马斯，这位后卫将因此成为自由球员。篮网队已做出决定，允许托马斯寻找新的下家。
托马斯本赛季代表篮网出战24场常规赛，其中8场首发，场均登场24分钟得到15.6分1.8篮板3.1助攻。
