MFS Investment Management的Peter Goves在一份报告中称，随着英国通胀放缓，英国央行未来几个月可能降息。不过，市场普遍预计英国央行将在周四的利率决定中维持利率在3.75%不变。Goves称，“我们认为需求前景依然有些疲软，英国央行极有可能下调其近期通胀路径。“伦敦证券交易所集团的数据显示，市场已完全反映英国央行7月可能降息一次的预期，且今年第二次降息的可能性较低。
