北京之行之后，英国首相斯塔默到访上海，在徐汇滨江的“西岸漩心”出席中英商务活动，称赞“上海真是太棒了”。对于此次行程，他称其为“历史性的访华之旅”，并表示，中英双方越是积极交流，越能建立互信互敬，为两国带来美好未来和无限机遇。现在的英企代表们也难掩兴奋，对未来的中英合作充满期待。
