根据国外知名电影媒体Deadline的独家消息，Netflix已购买经典动漫《高达》真人改编权，该片将由日昇工作室（Sunrise）与传奇影业（Legendary Pictures）联合制作。Netflix官方暂未官宣。
据悉，本片主演将为西德妮.斯威尼与诺亚.琴蒂内奥，导演则由曾指导过《鹿角男孩》的吉姆·米可负责。
