1月16日，安徽安庆市迎江区人民政府发布关于省委、省政府批准部分乡撤乡设镇事项的公告。
经安徽省委、省政府批准，撤销安庆市迎江区龙狮桥乡，设立迎江区龙狮桥镇；撤销迎江区长风乡，设立迎江区长风镇。上述2个乡镇政府驻地、管辖范围、行政区域界线均保持不变。
