英国或屏蔽X？美国发出严厉威胁

当地时间12日，英国通信管理局发布声明称，X平台内置的人工智能聊天机器人“格罗克”（Grok）被滥用于生成并传播涉及真实人物的伪造色情内容，相关情况“令人深感担忧”。该机构已依据英国《在线安全法》对X展开正式调查，以评估其是否履行了保护英国公众免受非法内容侵害的责任，并表示在“最严重情况下”不排除屏蔽该平台的可能。

对此，罗杰斯在接受采访时表示：“从美国的角度来看……在言论自由问题上，没有什么是不可能的。接下来，我们将拭目以待，看看英国通信管理局会采取何种行动，以及美国将如何回应。”她指责英国政府试图“掌控公共领域，压制其不认同的政治观点”，并称这才是英国考虑封杀X的真正原因，而并非技术或安全问题，“因为其他人工智能应用程序同样具备类似功能”。

"I would say from America's perspective ... nothing is off the table when it comes to free speech," Rogers, the under secretary of state for public diplomacy, told GB News in an interview which aired in the UK in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

"Let's wait and see what Ofcom does and we'll see what America does in response," she added.

罗杰斯进一步声称，X所呈现的政治倾向正是英国政府“所敌视、所不喜欢的”，并称“这才是事情的真相”。当被问及罗杰斯的表态是否准确反映美国政府在这一问题上的官方立场时，美国驻英国大使馆一名发言人回应称：“她的言论本身就说明了一切。”

In her GB News interview Rogers accused the British government of wanting "the ability to curate a public square, to suppress political viewpoints it dislikes".

X has a "political valence that the British government is antagonistic to, doesn't like, and that's what's really going on," she added.

Asked whether Rogers' remarks accurately represent the Trump administration's stance on the issue, a spokesperson for the US embassy in London said: "Her remarks speak for themselves."

与此同时，美国方面可能采取的反制措施也逐渐显现。据英国《每日电讯报》13日报道，美国官员已制定相关计划，若英国通信管理局官员进入美国境内，将就其参与审查X平台一事对其进行质询。美方还警告称，若英国首相斯塔默兑现封锁X平台的决定，美国“有权加大回应力度”，包括对相关英国官员实施旅行禁令。

At least one lawmaker aligned with Trump has also weighed in on behalf of the Elon Musk-owned platform. US Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a Florida Republican, said last week she was drafting legislation to sanction the UK if X is banned in the country.
