1月15日，长征二号丙运载火箭在酒泉卫星发射中心点火起飞，随后将阿尔及利亚遥感三号卫星A星送入预定轨道，发射任务取得圆满成功。
据悉，阿尔及利亚遥感三号卫星A星主要用于土地规划和防灾减灾领域。
2017年12月11日，长征三号乙运载火箭成功发射阿尔及利亚一号通信卫星，该星是中阿两国航天领域的首个合作项目。
本次发射是长征系列运载火箭第626次发射。
